Our usual online services include repeat prescription requests, booking routine appointments and viewing your medical records. Please note that during the Coronavirus pandemic we will not be offering online appointments as all appointments are being triaged first with a telephone call from a clinician.
If you have NOT already signed up for online access you can sign up from home via the NHS app. The NHS app allows you to provide proof of ID via your smartphone and will then authorise you to request repeat prescriptions and to book routine GP appointments (when the appointment booking service is available again). Please note that the NHS app can only be used for patients aged 13 and over.
If you have previously signed up for online access by showing ID at reception and getting a letter with instructions on how to register for the service then you can use the Patient Access website or Patient Access App or the MyGP app or the NHS app depending on your preference. If you were given a letter but no longer have it and have not yet activated your registration please ring us on 01303 851411 and we can resend the letter to your registered email address. Please note that your current email address MUST match the one we have on record for you for your online access account to be activated.
If you are not able to access online services using the above apps then you can register on this website to request prescriptions. Please note that this will not give you access to information about your current medication, it will just give you a form you can fill in and send us with your request. You will also be able to use this website service to request medication on someone else's behalf. To request a prescription using the website you will need to register or login here
If you are a carer for someone else and have written consent to access their medical records or act on their behalf in relation to their health then we may be able to set you up with an account to allow you to request repeat prescriptions on their behalf. If you would like to apply for this please ring the surgery on 01303 851411 and ask for a call back from Sarah about 'proxy access to online services'.
We usually offer the option to come to the surgery to fill out a form for online access and show ID to reception to complete your registration. At the moment we are unable to offer this service due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We are awaiting advice on alternative options to allow online access without compromising patient confidentiality and will update this section of the website as soon as we have further information. The NHS app (see above) can be used from home and allows you to confirm your ID without having to come to the surgery so we recommend using this if possible.
